I am just kick­ing back with me mug of grog and I guess I missed the Dust n Bones show last week? Damn! (hurry, blame the grog)

Well, such as it is. I will try and make the next one. However, I am rather excited to exclaim that Head­RUSH has two con­firmed gigs com­ing up:

-April 24^th at Dream­street in OB

-May 22 at Fan­nies in Spring Val­ley (all nite)

We have our new gui­tarist Vil­helm Life­son, Sargeant of arms, Teu­tonic axe wielder,  and we are gear­ing up to cause the geeki­est of us to exhort wildly and drink large quan­ti­ties of the afor­men­tioned grog while rock­ing their OCD ten­den­cies to new heights of out­right glee…just keep yer cut­lass in it’s scab­bard now matey.

Remem­ber, you heard it here first. Now the only thing that is Closer to the Heart is the Escon­dido Renais­sance Faire. Yes, I am one of those pirate types. Sorry (not really sorry about it of course) Apr. 25^th-26^th & May 2^nd-3^rd are the dates for that wild parade of anachro­nism that will descend on Felicita Park in Escondido… eating, fight­ing, shop­ping, per­form­ing, …wench­ing (for the sin­gle guys, of course)…Ah yes, and the grog.  Be there, and god shave the queen…

Now don’t for­get to drink respon­si­bly and pay your des­ig­nated dri­ver well. ..Why?  Well, because he/she will get you back to home port with nary a squall. We really don’t want to get ship­wrecked and lost at sea, or worse, have our let­ters of Marqe con­fis­cated, do we?
